| I've been with APG for 2 years and have no problems with my bills or discounts applied. There customer service is good and they are prompt to answer the phone without you having to select a trillion options before you get to speak to a real person. They have however put their prices up 3 times in the 2 years. However they are happy to negotiate a new deal if you find a better offer. My advice is to shop around, get details of a better offer and then see what they can do. Competition is a wonderful thing. Also remember to compare the non-discounted price ex GST from each provider so you know exactly what the bottom line is. |

| I never write on these type of boards, however my horrible service with Australian Power and Gas has gotten me to take the time to try to help others. Whatever you do, do not sign up with APG. They have been a nightmare to deal with -- incompetent on every level of customer service. First of all they said they couldn't hook up a connection because I was living in at a business -- when this is a large apartment block. After literally hours on the phone over several days they finally figured it out -- but then started charging me for my neighbor's electric instead of mine. And now when my first bill arrived they have charged me for weeks before I moved into this unit and before I signed up. Hours more on the phone and still no compensation for the overbilling. Just threats that I better pay the full amount on time or else.... I can't stress enough how poor this service has been. Run away quickly! |

| I do not recommed Australian power and gas. Since moving house last year I have had nothing but grief. Gas meter reading taken early at old house, billed for power used in new house before I moved in, accounts closed and not told so the not so helpful staff kept looking up an account that had been closed. Then the real kicker got solar power installed and got charged rather than credited for the excess power I generated and fed into the grid!! That was January and it has taken until June to resolve. All in all not a happy customer - but be dammed if I am giving them any more money by paying a break out fee to change to another company!! |

| Got a call from an English guy and I have found myself with these guys.....somehow. Got to say the guy who rang me is really, really good at his job and knew what he was taling about. Was very helpful and had an answer to everyone of my question's. Just sounded like someone a could go for a pint with, not just another tele marketer(you know the types) So all in all the guy got me to give these guys a go, Not had a bill as of yet so will have to review at a later date. But if they are as good as the rep who sold it to me Im on to a winner Like he said, I dont want to make a decsion over the phone, so he gave me a 10 day cooling off period in which I could cancel free of charge, within 10 buisness days of RECIEVING the pack. So I didn't have to rush into a descion |
