Neighbourhood Energy is a Victorian electricity provider. They are committed to giving back to the community and are actively involved with a number of community and not-for-profit groups. As part of their Community Partner Program, every customer who pays their bill on time can donate their pay on time discount to their favourite charity or community group. Neighbourhood Energy is a registered fundraiser and customers are able to claim tax deductions on these donations.
Neighbourhood Energy has its headquarters in Melbourne and in October 2011 was acquired by CBD Energy Limited, a diversified renewable energy company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Prior to this date Neighbourhood Energy was owned by Alinta.
