Queensland Electricity was an electricity provider to households and businesses in Queensland.
Queensland Electricity had an online facility called the Customer Zone which allowed customers to quickly and easily manage their electricity accounts. Clients of Queensland Electricity were billed monthly instead of the usual three months for electricity services.
Queensland Electricity was owned by Infratil Limited, a public company listed on the New Zealand Exchange. The company also operated Victoria Electricity and South Australia Electricity.
