what is a MIRN?
MIRN is your Meter Installation Reference Number. This is a unique number used by gas suppliers to identify the gas meter at your property. Switchwise will ask you to provide your MIRN if you choose to transfer from one retailer to another.
how do you find your NMI and MIRN?
Your NMI and MIRN are shown on your electricity and gas bills respectively. If you cannot find it, your current supplier will be able to tell you. Alternatively, your new provider will be able to find out when they apply to transfer your account.
