Switchwise displays a rating for each supplier shown in the search results. The rating is on a scale from zero to five stars, in increments of 1/2 stars. The rating for each supplier is intended to provide an indication of the level of customer service provided by each supplier. The rating has been calculated based upon a weighted average of call answer time, enquiry handling/resolution and customer complaints data collected and published by the Essential Services Commision of Victoria and Customer Service Benchmarking Australia for the 2007-08 year. Where data has not been collected or reported for individual metrics the Victorian energy sector average has been applied.
