selecting your level of greenpower
GreenPower products carry a percentage on the label which indicates the level of accredited renewable energy that the retailer purchases on the consumer's behalf. For example, if a product's label carries 25% GreenPower label, it means that the energy supplier has to offset 25% of your total power usage with renewable energy.
The cost of Green Power differs depending on the percentage of renewable energy you select. The premium starts from as little as $1 per week for 10% GreenPower. A household with average energy usage could switch to 100% GreenPower for an extra $4-$8 per week depending upon their supplier.
